In this video, we’re going to talk about the importance of combining keto with intermittent fasting. Many people are not losing weight on keto because they continue to snack between meals. Although low-carb snacks are healthier, you are still stimulating insulin every time you eat.

If you’re over the age of 45, menopausal, or have a slow metabolism, keto will not work unless you also do intermittent fasting. Keto and intermittent fasting are equally important tools to help you get healthy and lose weight.

The good news is that you don’t have to start an intermittent fasting plan overnight. You can incorporate intermittent fasting slowly.

Start with 3 meals and no snacks, adding more fat to your meals to keep you full for longer periods. Slowly push your breakfast forward until you eliminate breakfast and lunch becomes your first meal. If you’re not hungry in the morning, don't eat!
