In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the amazing benefits of mushrooms. Mushrooms are not a plant or vegetable, they’re a fungus! But don’t worry, it’s a myth that consuming a fungus will give you fungus.

Mushrooms contain powerful nutrients that act as anti-inflammatory agents and anti-cancer agents. Mushrooms contain beta-glucans which are excellent for combating insulin resistance.

One cup of mushrooms contains 3 grams of proteins, 2 grams of carbs, and more potassium than a banana. Mushrooms are also a rich source of the following nutrients:
•Vitamins B2, B3, B5
•Vitamin D
•Choline
•Iron
•Selenium
