In this video, we’re going to talk about Hashimoto’s disease and take a look at some of the remedies that can help alleviate Hashimoto’s symptoms. Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disease of the thyroid that causes a hypothyroid condition.

Oftentimes, Hashimoto’s is looked at as only a thyroid issue, but it is largely an autoimmune problem. The onset of Hashimoto’s typically occurs after a significantly stressful event. Many people report a loss, pregnancy, injury, or other trauma right before their Hashimoto's symptoms began. The immune system is very sensitive to stress.

The thyroid gland is affected by high levels of estrogen, high levels of cortisol, nutritional deficiencies, poor diet, radiation, gluten, and GMO foods. All of these factors can cause a slow thyroid or a hypothyroid.

Here are 7 things that can help support your thyroid and your immune system if you have Hashimoto’s:
1. Selenium
2. Cruciferous vegetables
3. Sea kelp
4. Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting (OMAD)
5. Vitamin A
6. Vitamin D
7. Purified bile salts
