In this video, we’re going to talk about the sugar consumption of the average American. The average person consumes:
•26 to 31 tablespoons a day
•4 pounds every 12.8 days
•25 pounds in 80 days
In one year, the average person will consume more than four 25-pound bags of sugar!
Surprisingly, the American Diabetes Association does not identify this excessive sugar consumption as the cause of diabetes.
