If you focus on weight loss first, you may or may not end up healthy. If you focus on a healthy diet and healthy lifestyle first, you should notice the following health indicators:
•No cravings
•No hunger between meals
•Increased stress tolerance
•Better sleep quality
•Increased energy(including mental energy)
•Great skin
•Good digestion
Sometimes when you’re focusing on getting healthy first, you may not see weight loss initially. If you’re dealing with atrophy, what you think is excess weight is actually the result of loss of muscle tone.
If you want to lose weight fast, that might not be the best or most sustainable option for your health in the long run. Weight loss and the development of a healthy body composition take time. The health indicators listed above, however, can be noticed right away!
Focus on a healthy diet and healthy lifestyle first—weight loss will come as a by-product of being healthy.
