In this video, we’re going to talk about getting your body into ketosis without experiencing weight loss. Many people want to enjoy the health benefits of keto and intermittent fasting, but don’t necessarily want the weight loss that comes along with it.

Keto and intermittent fasting can improve your cognitive function, mood, concentration and memory. There are also anti-inflammatory, anti-aging benefits of keto.

If you want to get into ketosis for health benefits rather than weight loss, consume around 50 grams of carbohydrates each day and around 8 ounces of protein. You’ll also want to increase your fat intake.

At the end of each meal, try to consume nut butters, nuts, or keto bombs for extra calories. Try having a bulletproof coffee in the morning for extra fat intake. This means you add butter, coconut oil, or MCT oil to your coffee. You can also indulge in delicious keto bombs.

You can still do intermittent fasting without losing weight. Try consuming 2 meals per day between 12 and 6 p.m.

By adding extra fat to your diet, you’ll be in ketosis, but you won’t lose weight. Your body will burn the ketones from your dietary fat, rather than burning your own body fat.
