Recuérdeme - Masacre del pueblo armenio

This poem is based on one of the many children who were victims of the genocide of the Armenian people. Between 1915 and 1923, the massacre of the Armenian people, better known as the “Armenian genocide,” took place at the hands of the Young Turk government of the Ottoman Empire.
The Armenian community was persecuted and murdered, and also forced into forced deportation and a march through the Syrian desert.
