In this video, we’re going to talk about coconut oil and cholesterol. Does coconut oil have high cholesterol? The answer is no!

Only animal-based foods contain cholesterol. Coconut oil does not contain cholesterol, but it does contain saturated fat.

Although coconut oil does not contain cholesterol, consuming coconut oil can increase your LDL cholesterol and your HDL cholesterol. Increasing either type of cholesterol does not increase your chances of having a heart attack or a stroke.

Consuming coconut oil will not affect your heart in any negative way at all! There are actually numerous health benefits of coconut oil.
