1:40 The truth about coconut oil

In this video, I want to explain why coconut oil is not dangerous. "They" consider coconut oil as dangerous because it is a saturated fat that could cause clogged arteries and coronary heart disease. But that is only an example of false information.

Coconut oil is 70% medium-chain triglycerides. This type of fat is very different and is actually converted into ketones for energy. I believe coconut oil is very healthy and safe. It has been around for a long time, and there are even studies that show that it may actually help lower cholesterol.

The truth about coconut oil:
• It's 70% medium-chain triglycerides – It gets converted into ketones for energy
• It bypasses the gallbladder – It is a low-stress fat for the liver and gallbladder
• 50% of coconut oil is lauric acid – It has amazing anti-microbial properties and is great for the immune system
• The coconut oil industry didn't sponsor the AHA (American Heart Association)
