1:19 Eating sugar gives you a temporary period of feeling good before it depletes your beta-endorphins, leaving you feeling stressed again

It’s not hard for me to understand why stress makes people eat sugar. Stress reduces the amount of beta-endorphins your body produces. Beta endorphins counter stress and pain. They’re up to 33 percent more powerful than morphine. They’re triggered in a variety of ways:

● Exercise; which results in runner’s high
● Intermittent fasting
● Sugar
● Laughing
● Massage
● Eating chocolate

Eating sugar for stress is a trap. You eat it, and you feel better, but 5-20 minutes later you feel stressed again and reach for the sugar again to feel better again.

Instead of eating sugar, try the other activities on the list. Instead of sugar, do healthy keto to go with intermittent fasting. Eat sugar-free chocolate. They’ll help reduce your stress and improve your health!
