In this video, Dr. Berg talked about another reason why you might be getting fat that goes beyond the consumption of carbohydrates and frequent eating. Antibiotics increase weight gain and this is also the reason why antibiotics are given to animals to make them bigger.
Antibiotics:
• 80% of all the antibiotics sold in the US are given to livestock. - In 2010, 63,000 tons.
• In 2010, Monsanto got a patent that classified glyphosate as an antibiotic – GMO foods like corn, soy, beet sugar, canola, etc.
• Glyphosate spilling off into the environment to the water supply – 36% of water samples through various places around the United States showed higher levels of glyphosate. 69% of the samples showed the breakdown product of glyphosate.
• EPA – Set drinking water maximum contamination of 700mcg/Liter.
What to Do:
