Thousands of ethnic Armenians have fled their homes in the breakaway enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, heading for Armenia where many face an uncertain future.

The border area on the Armenian side at Kornidzor was busy with road traffic as vehicles streamed across the frontier on Tuesday, September 26.

Among others arriving at Kornidzor were a group of children evacuated from their village in Karabakh.

At least 19,000 of the 120,000 ethnic Armenians who call Nagorno-Karabakh home have already crossed into Armenia, since last Sunday, with hundreds of cars and buses crammed with belongings snaking down the mountain road out of Azerbaijan. #Armenia #reels #videography #voanews
