In this video, Dr. Berg answers the question if you can consume pasta on a ketogenic diet plan. It is true that the blood sugar will not spike initially after consuming certain foods.
Pasta has a 45 to 50 glycemic index and it is made from a different type of wheat called durum wheat, which is higher protein wheat. And the Latin word for durum means “hard”.
Check your blood sugar levels 3-4 hours after eating certain foods, you will find some interesting data. Give it time to really see the full digestion effect of certain foods with your blood sugar.
