In this video, we’re going to talk about the main reason why you are getting up at night several times to urinate.

The bladder has smooth muscle around it that contracts and relaxes. Urinating several times at night is caused by a condition where you could not eliminate all the urine, and the muscle tone of the bladder is not fully contracting. It’s a problem with the nerve that connects to the muscle. It’s a problem with the sympathetic nervous system. This is called sympathetic dominance. This is caused by too much insulin.

Symptoms of sympathetic dominance:
• Difficulty urinating
• Straining to urinate
• Incomplete elimination of urine
• Dribbling

What to do:
• Lower insulin (do healthy keto and intermittent fasting)
