DIY а beautiful box of recycled newspapers

A simple idea for recycled newspaper boxes.

I used paper from a regular old magazine.
Twisted the paper into tubes using a knitting needle.
Glued each tube with PVA glue.
Connected the tubes together in the form of walls.
I connected all the resulting walls and the bottom of the box together with glue.
Added support for cover hinge.
Prepared the box cover and attached the locks.
Coated all spackling paste and allowed to dry.
Painted with acrylics colors and left to dry again.
Putty all the holes in the tubes with a spackling paste.
Decorated the box cover with a decoupage napkin.
