In 1958, a family from the village of Poieni, Romania were harvesting hay for the winter. What followed was a chilling and traumatic experience like no other: an attack by a horrifying wolf. Afterwards, it was whispered that there was a paranormal quality to the happening, and that the wolf was a supernatural monster - a werewolf, or as they are known in Romanian folklore, a pricolici. For certainly, the family at the centre of this historic paranormal case were said to have been cursed many years before… with the creepy wereanimal being the manifestation of the decades-old curse.
