Young film makers ready to premiere documentary
The young people at the Buffalo Center for the Arts & Technology are putting the final touches on a project six weeks in the making. It's a documentary called The Civic Heart. The plan was for the young film makers to explore what makes our civic leaders do what they do. It was a collaboration of BCAT, Squeaky Wheel and AT&T. Besides shooting and editing the high school aged students had to interview a number of prominent local leaders including Mayor Brown and Tim Kennedy. Joyce Stilson, Director Of Development for BCAT says:"The way you remember is by doing." The students have done all the shoot, editing and interviewing. The Civic Heart will premiere Thursday at the Buffalo Center for The Arts & Technology and then it will be on line at Squeaky.org
