Eating lean meat on keto is a terrible idea!

In this video, I talk about why you shouldn’t eat lean meat on keto. Or actually lean (low fat) protein at all. I’m amazed by how hard a push there is for lean meat. Skinless chicken breasts! Turkey bacon! You’ll supposedly be so healthy.
There are interesting studies on people in the Arctic who had only rabbits to eat. There’s a condition called protein starvation. Other names for it are rabbit starvation or fat starvation.
This condition means you’re starving for other nutrients because you’re only eating lean protein. Rabbit has 8 percent fat; beef has 32. Skinless chicken breasts are 11 percent fat.
Protein starvation creates a series of side effects such as:
●Diarrhea
●Headaches
●Fatigue
●Low blood pressure
●Slow heart rate
●Slow pulse rate
●Hungry but protein doesn’t satisfy the hunger
In certain survival manuals, you’ll find advice to not consume rabbits even if it’s the only food available.
When you consume protein on keto, consume it as a whole food with the fat it comes with. Don’t take the skin off. Try to get sardines with the skin on, for example.
More interesting information about ultra low-fat protein, including
Whey protein powder. On the insulin index, a scale of non-carbohydrate foods that trigger insulin, whey is at the top.
You need certain nutrients to metabolize protein. If you’re consuming lean protein without enough fat you could create all kinds of vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
Another thing to know is about bile, which is made in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. You need bile to help you absorb all the fat-soluble vitamins. Fat triggers bile so if you’re eating lean protein you could not only dry up your bile also but risk gallstones. I’ve encountered many people on a low-fat, high-protein weight loss program and a certain percentage have gallbladder problems.
You need fat for your brain, nerves, cell membranes, endocrine system, and immune system. I’m also talking about cholesterol. Just think how many side effects a person gets when they are put on statin drugs.
You want to make sure you consume the fattiest fish you can get along with the fattiest meat you can find. Don't eat lean meat on keto!
