Delhi wants to put renewed pressure on foreign Sikh activists, with seven Britons named among 19 people whose Indian properties are set to be confiscated.
It comes after some British Sikhs voiced concerns about a ‘mischaracterisation’ of their community.
A diplomatic row was sparked when Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau said there was a ‘credible link’ between India and the murder of a Sikh leader on Canadian soil.
