In this video, I explain how healthy keto desserts can help you lose weight. Yes, it’s possible!

I recommend the healthy keto version of these desserts:

● Peanut butter fat bomb
● Strawberry cheesecake
● Brownies
● Chocolate chip cookies
● Shortbread cookies
● Pound cake muffins
● Berries and cream

These taste almost identical to the sugar version but without the sugar. I put a link below to the recipes on my website.

There are two things to keep in mind. One is to consume the low carb version. The second is they must be high in fat. If you do a low fat version of a snack or dessert, you’ll be hungry. If you combine high sugar and low fat, you’re really going to quickly get hungry.

And you don’t want to consume these desserts unless you’re also intermittent fasting because every time you eat anything with calories you trigger insulin. Insulin is what keeps you from losing weight. The average person is eating three meals plus three snacks per day. Even if you’re doing low carb, this is a killer.

First, eliminate the snacks. The only way to do this without getting hungry is to add more fat. One way is to add a keto dessert or fat bomb. Next, drop your breakfast and eat just two meals per day. You’ll be able to fast for longer periods, decrease your insulin, and lose weight. Then move the two meals closer together until they’re four hours apart, meaning you’re fasting for twenty hours. If you have a lot of weight to lose or you’re older, or your metabolism is slow, reduce to one meal a day.

Don't be afraid to consume a good amount of fat or even a keto dessert at that one meal.

The key is intermittent fasting, infrequent eating, and low carbs.

Be aware of these problems people run into with keto desserts:

● Can’t stop eating them
● Eat too many (limit yourself to 2 to 3)
● Snacking between meals; this is the biggest reason why people fail to lose weight, even on keto
● Not eating nutrient-dense food; otherwise known as dirty keto. They’re not doing enough vegetables and not choosing organic products. This is essential for correcting insulin resistance.
● Sugar substitutes, especially maltitol and FiberYum, which tend to raise the most insulin. I do use FiberYum in very small amounts in some of my dessert recipes. Just make sure you stick to these small amounts.

Now you know how healthy keto desserts can support your weight loss.
