4:00 What are some of the symptoms of having a shorter lifespan or cancer?

In this video, I explain how your longevity is influenced by your nutrition; in other words, the quality of the nutrients you consume.

The first thing to understand is that you’re as strong as your weakest link. Nowadays people often die of heart attacks, cancer, kidney failure, and the like. These are weaknesses in our body that shorten our lifespan.

If we dig down into what makes up an organ or a gland, we find DNA. So really, what’s happening is DNA damage at the cellular level. Then your body tries very quickly to repair the damage.

On average, there are about 60,000 repairs that need to be made on a daily basis. When your body fails to repair this damage, or the free radical damage is too strong, you age quicker. Your organs deteriorate. You get chronic inflammation and become susceptible to disease.
