Cuckoo clock artist Jodie Davis presents her Hickory Flat Cuckoo Clock.

Named after the hamlet in which she lives, the clock was inspired by Adirondack furniture.

Jodie handmakes her clocks individually on her two-horse farm in north Georgia.

She starts with clockworks and bellows she imports from the Black Forest. Her clocks are traditional weight-driven 8-day clocks, powered by cast German pine cone weights, or more modern weights Jodie has made by a blacksmith in Mississippi.
