The Rise of False Prophets: A Biblical Warning

The rise of false prophets is something that has happened throughout the times of the bible and is still relevant for us today! And since this is still going on today it is important to understand this biblical warning. In this bible study we look at a story in 1 Kings. This story involves a prophet of the Lord that did not obey God and the consequences he faced because he listened to a false prophet instead of what God told him to do. This is a lesson that we as Christians should all learn from because we can find ourselves in a position just like this prophet did where Satan uses someone to lead us to sin against the words our God spoke to us. We must always remember there are consequences for being disobedient to God! I hope that you will be encouraged by the scriptures that we look at today and they will inspire you to hold to what God tells you and not a man or women who claim they are coming in the name of the Lord. Many today are being led astray by false prophets and my hope is that this video will help open your eyes that any of us can fall into this trap as this true prophet of God did!
