MARATUA - Borneo's Most Intriguing Island (Derawan, East Kalimantan)

In the present video, I go on an amazing 3-week undertaking to Maratua Island, Borneo's most colorful island in East Kalimantan. There I uncover the marvels of this extraordinary heaven. From exciting experiences with Whale sharks and Ocean turtles to finding unlikely treasures, as free making a plunge caves loaded up with precious stone blue water, this video is experience stuffed!

The Derawan Islands brings a ton to the table! Other than Maratua, I visit the close by Sangalaki and their popular turtle asylum, alongside Kakaban islands, with it's monstrous detached lake loaded up with stingless jellyfish.

Seeing the island's preservation endeavors, I was moved by the association 'Yayasan Kalasahan' who shows nearby children English right on the ocean front. Along with my support, Fuchs Indonesia, we gave them a memory they will not forget at any point in the near future.
