Providing a Home Based Education for Children

In light of the recent #1MillionMarch4Children in Canada I’ve decided to do a follow-up show about #homeschooling. I will be joined by a panel of past, present and future #HomeSchoolers.

We are hoping to give a history of #GovernmentSchools and where we are today. What are the issues facing #parents? What is the funding model for school how does that translate for families that would like to center a home based education?

Is school really the solution for socialization? Where do the school counsellors fit into the school and parent relationship?

What are some of the #BarriersForHomeEducation ? Is #CommunitySchooling an option?
