Webinar | Let’s Give Xi Something to Worry About: Help the Chinese People Bring Down the CCP

The unexplained disappearances of numerous senior Chinese officials and military leaders is fueling speculation that Xi Jinping is, like many tyrants — and especially Communist ones — becoming increasingly paranoid in his old age and obsessing about potential disloyalty among even longtime associates and mentees. As it happens, Xi has good reason for feeling insecure given the PRC’s mounting crises (economic and financial, political and demographic, to name a few) that are exacerbating declining popular support for the CCP and its leader who has concentrated all power in his own hands.

We should seize this moment to give him something to really worry about.

That is even more the case given another possible consideration behind Xi’s surrounding himself with subordinates believed to be slavishly loyal: Doing so could advance his evident purpose of precipitating violent conflict with the United States by purging those who do not share his enthusiasm for war.

We have, therefore, a powerful interest in putting that paranoid megalomaniac out of business.

Unfortunately, as Dr. Bradley Thayer and Capt. James Fanell, U.S. Navy (Ret.) have recently documented, a Biden administration that is heavily populated by the CCP’s “captured elite” is, instead, busily trying to prop up the Chinese Communists yet again, rather than topple what is, in actuality, history’s largest and most dangerous Transnational Criminal Organization.

An alternative, pro-American (rather than pro-appeasement) strategy is clearly needed – one that will prevent Xi from pursuing external aggression by depriving him of the support of the vast majority of the Chinese people and advancing our mutual interest in taking down the CCP. This CPDC webinar considers the key elements of such a strategy and how they can be decisively effectuated.
