Notes:
The band flew in make-up to Detroit, direct from Erie on January 24, to conduct a press conference at the Detroit Airport Hilton. They were given the evening off. Opening act, Back Street Crawler, also flew in from Texas, where they had been completing rehearsals with John "Rabbit" Bundrick. Even if there was a stylistic mismatch between the bands, they had connections with KISS, with two members having been in the Ron Johnsen produced band, Bloontz, who performed with KISS at the Palisades Library benefit concert in May 1973 (and had performed on the Lyn Christopher album). Guitarist Paul Kossoff had been a member of one of Paul Stanley's favorite bands, Free.
Video from the pro-shot show is missing the presumed encores, but remains notable for the inclusion of "Ladies In Waiting," and Paul knocking his mic over during "Strutter."
This show was officially released as the third bonus DVD as part of the "KISSology Vol. 1" DVD package offered by "Best Buy."
