In this video, I want to cover what to do for fatigue that doesn’t go away with rest. The medical term for this is myalgic encephalomyelitis. But, you may also know it as chronic fatigue syndrome.

Symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome:
• Delayed flare-ups
• Sleep problems
• Moodiness/irritability
• Cognitive issues
• Sore throat
• Muscle pain

Potential causes of chronic fatigue syndrome:
• Lyme’s disease
• Prediabetes
• Low vitamin D
• Reactivated EBV (most common cause)

It’s really important to ask yourself when you noticed you had chronic fatigue syndrome and what happened just before you noticed this issue. This can help you try to determine the potential cause.

Potential remedies for chronic fatigue syndrome (when the cause is EBV):
1. Astragalus (6g of the dried root mixed with 2 cups of water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Let it cool and drink it once a day.)
2. Vitamin D (30,000 IUs per day)
3. Zinc (100mg per day)
