Thread: Wapsi UTC Ultra Thread 140 Denier Black, Danville 6/0 Black and Red
Tag: Tinsel, Gold
Tail: Red Hackle
Body: Tinsel, Gold
Throat: Grizzly hackle, yellow
Wing: 4 Rooster Cape Hackles, Claret
Shoulder: Golden Pheasant Tippet Feather
Cheek: Jungle Cock
Head: Black with Red Band

I must apologize... I have been referring to this fly as the "Dave's" special but it is actually the "Davis" special. Must be time to get my glasses tweaked! The Davis Special is a handsome fly with the claret hackle and the golden Pheasant tippet. I took the opportunity to do supplemental video on how I assembled the wings on the Davis Special. There are just a few things that must be taken into consideration when assembling the wings when there is a shoulder involved. -- Enjoy
