It's one thing to discover that your spouse had an affair... that's terrible in itself. It's another thing entirely to find out that the affair was a very long and very serious relationship that last NINE YEARS. That's exactly what one client of mine discovered. His wife had a completely separate and secret life for almost a decade. The only reason the husband discovered the affair was because the affair partner died and it sent the wife into a state of depression.

The problem that the husband has is that the relationship was, by all accounts, just fine during the nine year affair. He had no idea it was going on. Their sex life was just fine.
