Which new airline is coming to CVG? We'll find out Wednesday morning

Now arriving at Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport: a new airline. Airport spokesperson Mindy Kershner said CVG officials will hold a news conference at 7 a.m. Wednesday to announce which company is coming to the Cincinnati area. Ten airlines already fly out of CVG, including discount airlines like Frontier and Allegiant. Low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines launched service in June with eight daily flights to Chicago and Baltimore-Washington. That added competition is responsible for dropping the average fare by 12 percent over the past year.
