In this video I discuss how I learned Jiu-Jitsu in America. I started training Jiu-Jitsu back in 1997. it was a different time especially in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. The UFC was launched in 1993 and that made Jiu-Jitsu take off. I discuss how Jiu-Jitsu was originally taught, the trials and tribulations of learning Jiu-Jitsu in 1997 and I also discuss what I do differently now to make learning Jiu-Jitsu easier for my students.
