Amidst the darkest moments, the poet declares, "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:21-23, ESV).

This passage underscores the concept that even in the midst of despair, God's love and mercy remain constant. The imagery of each morning bringing new mercies conveys a sense of renewal and the opportunity for restoration.
