Twisted Scipture

How are scriptures manipulated and twisted? The Word of God is very precious, but unfortunately the word of God has been manipulated and twisted to suit the ungodly agenda of those with ulterior motives. Scripture never encourages anyone to sin, but some would have us believe that when it comes to church leaders, that God gives them a pass because of their “sacrifices” or “all their hard work for the ministry”. If a scripture is seeming encouraging a person to compromise God’s standard or “permitting” them to indulge in practices that are not in line with sound biblical interpretation, then clearly the person interpreting those verses are wrong.
