Siberian Hitch

Also known as a "Sliding slipknot on a bight", the Siberian Hitch is a useful hitch for those frozen adventures in Northern Michigan! A simple hitch to tie around a tree or post as a ridge line or whatever. Despite what the small camerawoman says at the beginning of the video, Dr. Morey's mom is not a "Siberian hitch"!
PS: The camerawoman (Mark's daughter) insisted on being code-named "Athena, Goddess of War" for the credits in this video, so...
