“Let go of emotional upheaval and embrace the renewal of the present.” Farmers use fire to burn down old crops and make way for new ones. Fire destroys, but it also paves a path for regeneration. If you’re struggling with someone, having what feels like a difficult but necessary discussion is much like burning away old weeds to make space for new growth.
