Finding a new route to a stunning glacial lake

Who needs a trail anyway? Nadine and I pioneer a new approach to reaching the electric blue glacial lake between Ipsoot and Rhododendron in the Pemberton backcountry. The perfect campsite with glacier views, a refreshing swim, and a gorgeous sunset were our reward for bushwhacking and routefinding from the nearest FSR. Unfortunately, smoke the next day put a damper on our plans to summit. I will have to go back one day...!
