Gorman Lake to Dawn Mountain to Holt Lakes Loop

This beautiful alpine area is outside of Golden, BC. Using Gorman Lake trail, we passed the lake and accessed the col above to camp in the basin below Dawn Mountain. The next morning I ascended Dawn up the north ridge, over the summit, down the south scree slopes to Holt Lakes, where I admired these pristine and gorgeous waters. To complete the loop I scrambled over loose boulders and traversed under the cliffs below Dawn and back up the open basin to our camp site, eventually ending back at Gorman Lake and the trail, after a summer hail storm caught Nadine, Nina, and I.
