The Three Things (Ep. 10)--Zelenskyy in the US, bumping heads over grain and Ukrainian war update...

This week's Three Things with Preston Smith, courtesy of The Corners Magazine (www.thecorners.pl) focuses on Western realities for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy; the grain flap between Poland and Ukraine and what it means going forward and the Ukrainian battlefield report. Each section of the Three Things runs approximately 15-20 minutes (or more), and we have provided markers to help you get where you need to go.

The First Thing: The Ukrainian Battlefield Report. Ukraine continues to make progress, despite the slow arrival of weapons and what is undeniably hard fighting. Yet it has also made use of drones and UK supplied missles, and this week it is likely that several high-ranking Russian officers were killed and wounded during a strike on Sevastopol. Maps galore.

The Second Thing: Volodomyr Zelenskyy appeared before both the UN and also met (or attempted to meet) key Republican players in US Congress. He was likely surprised by the lukewarm reaction compared to a year ago--but the US President did promise long-range missiles (although not many).

The Third Thing: Polish-Ukrainian relations soured sharply over grain and comments from the Ukrainian president. Did both sides go a shade too far? And what does this mean when it comes to Poland's reputation in the EU? And in the meantime... where are those German Leopards? Find out more here.
