Laser Tube Swap || Azzy's Workshop

Today we replace the laser tube in the workshop’s Nova 35 laser cutter / engraver, with an expertly packaged replacement 100w tube from Thunder Laser USA. We’ll unbox, remove the old one, and hook it all back up. On better machines, this is a routine and easy replacement as you can see here, YMMV on other makes.

Shoutout to LightObject.com for supplying us with other parts needed to refurb and upgrade this machine, they are a great source of parts for these tube machines, with excellent service and communication. (not sponsored, they are just a great place to shop)

Remember before working on any equipment to take all precautions against injury. We understand that tools can be dangerous, working on them can be dangerous… and that it can be rewarding and fun to fix and build your own tools. Proceed with caution and understanding if you take on a repair like this yourself, and never be afraid to ask someone more experienced for assistance before you get injured or break something expensive.
