IN THE TOWN OF GRATITOPIA, not far from the shore,
Lived people who valued gratitude evermore.
Each day they would play a remarkable game,
Where thanking and sharing was always the aim.

The rules were quite simple, yet deep in their way,
Express what you’re thankful for, every single day.
A stone, or a sunset, a laugh or a song,
In Gratitopia, no gratitude was too big, small, or wrong.

Little Timmy would giggle, his stone in his hand,
“I’m grateful for pebbles, the finest in the land!”
Miss Lulu would chime in, with glee in her eyes,
“For the clouds up above, and the blue, open skies!”

The game had a magic, that spread far and wide,
It pushed out the darkness, the greed and the pride.
For when one feels grateful, there’s no room for hate,
It's impossible to grumble, to envy, or berate.

Word spread about this village, the place of great cheer,
And soon, other towns, they began to draw near.
They wanted to learn, to play the same game,
To feel the deep joy, and the love it would claim.

And as the game spread, from one town to the next,
The world began changing, evolving, complex.
Wars started to dwindle, and anger grew rare,
For gratitude's magic left no room for despair.

In the end, Gratitopia, the game they held dear,
Was the one that saved Earth, and those who lived here.
A simple reminder, of life’s gifts so grand,
Can heal and can nurture, when given a hand.
