DailyKenn.com — 10-year-old Jake Luxemburger died near Louisville, KY when a stolen vehicle crashed into the GMC SUV in which the boy was a passenger.

23-year-old Tymetrius Walter was charged with murder, first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), and reckless driving along with several other traffic offenses.

Urban savagery has claimed the lives of at least six other children year-to-date.

• 2-year-old Mackenzie Hernandez-Garcia was fatally shot in San Antonio, Texas. Derrain Turner, 17, was arrested for capital murder.

• The baby carried by shooting victim Brittany Rich, 25, died prior to birth in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

• 15-year-old Michael Garr was fatally stabbed near Philadelphia in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.

• Kamarjay "KJ" Shaw, 14, was fatally shot in Lawrence, Kansas.

• Jeremiah Tracy Green, 11, was fatally shot at his home in Dallas, Texas.

• Connor Mullins, who just turned 12, was fatally shot in Phenix City, Alabama.
