During the conduct of offensive operations in the Kremennaya area, assault units successfully carry out the task of capturing strong points in the Kremensky forest. After inflicting fire on the positions of Kiev regime militants with cannon and rocket artillery, assault groups of paratroopers advanced to the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to capture and hold them. Russian servicemen quietly approached the militants' stronghold from several directions and, throwing grenades at the observation post, immediately burst into the enemy's trenches. Later, acting in a coordinated manner, applying the skills acquired during many days of training and exercises, the warriors of the ‘winged infantry’ rapidly advanced along the fortification , destroying the enemy with small arms and hand fragmentation grenades.
Ukrainians tried to hide from them in dugouts ‘fox holes’ or to escape. The enemy was surprised by the daring and decisive actions of our paratroopers, as a result of which many Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers threw down their weapons and surrendered. The Ukrainian soldiers who resisted were liquidated.
