Lucy Stone (August 13, 1818 – October 18, 1893) was an important voice for women and Black slaves and although some look today to her as a "Feminist" , she was no doubt a Christian and believed that women were created equal. The revisionist's love to take stories like Lucy Stone and trash the Christian faith, even this comment, understood in it's context is not anti-Christian but rather Biblical in it's nature. Here is the comment.
""I know not what you believe of God, but I believe He gave yearnings and longings to be filled, and that He did not mean all our time should be devoted to feeding and clothing the body." Viroqua, Wisconsin 9/24/23
