Tracy L. Bloom, born in Clay Center, Kansas, in 1958, embarked on a remarkable journey that led him to become a prominent figure in Kansas Freemasonry. After graduating from Clay Center Community High School in 1977, Tracy began his career with the Kansas Power and Light Company, initially in Clay Center and later in Salina from 1983 to 2007. His path eventually took a different turn as he transitioned to the role of a residential Real Estate Agent with Millwood Realty Inc. in Salina before becoming the Office Manager at the Masonic Grand Lodge of Kansas in Topeka in November 2010.
In 2012, Tracy took on the role of Grand Secretary for the Grand Lodge of Kansas, a position he still holds today. Alongside this pivotal role, he also served on the Kansas Masonic Foundation Board of Directors from 2009 to 2012, was a member of the Board of Directors for the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, VA, from 2014 to 2017, and took the helm as president of the Conference of Grand Secretaries of North America in 2020.
Tracy's Masonic journey began when he was raised as a Master Mason in 1994 at Salina Lodge #60. He went on to become the Worshipful Master of the same lodge in 2002. In 1995, he joined the York Rite, Scottish Rite and Shrine, demonstrating his deep commitment to Masonic principles. In recognition of his dedication and leadership within the fraternity, Tracy was elected and served as the Grand Master for the 2011-2012 term.
While maintaining his involvement with various lodges and Masonic organizations, Tracy remains a Plural member of Clay Center Lodge #134, where he served as Master in 2017 and as Secretary in 2019. Today, he continues his impactful role as the Grand Secretary, contributing significantly to the Masonic community in Kansas.
