Challenging the Narrative in a Post-Christian World – Greg Koukl

Evangelism for the last nearly 200 years was quite different than the first few centuries of Church history. The early believers lived in a decidedly paganistic and adversarial culture. In order to be ambassadors they had to have what Greg Koukl refers to as “Street Smarts.” In this post Christian age we find the Church again in a decidedly paganistic and adversarial culture. We at MCOI with Greg that “An effective ambassador has three essential skills. First, an ambassador must have the basic knowledge necessary for his task (an accurately informed mind). Second, he needs wisdom, the kind of tactical diplomacy that helps make his message clear and persuasive (an artful method). Third, the ambassador’s character (an attractive manner) will either make or break his message.”
