Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year in Judaism.

"Yom Kippur, “the day of atonement,” is the day Moses achieved complete forgiveness for the People of Israel after the Sin of the Golden Calf.

SCRIPTURES:

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT ~ Leviticus‬ ‭16:27‬-30
[27] "The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose BLOOD was brought in to make ATONEMENT in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp. And they shall burn in the fire their skins, their flesh, and their offal. [28] Then he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp. [29] This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall AFFLICT your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you. [30] For on that day the Priest shall make ATONEMENT for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord."

‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭23:26‭-‬29‬
[26] "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: [27] “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the DAY OF ATONEMENT. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. [28] And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the DAY OF ATONEMENT, to make ATONEMENT for you before the Lord your God. [29] For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people."

THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT ~ Hebrews‬ ‭9:18‭-‬25‬
[18] Therefore not even the FIRST COVENANT was dedicated without BLOOD. [19] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the BLOOD of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, [20] saying, “This is the BLOOD of the COVENANT which God has commanded you.” [21] Then likewise he sprinkled with BLOOD both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. [22] And according to the Law almost all things are purified with BLOOD, and without shedding of BLOOD there is no remission. [23] Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the Heavens should be purified with these, but the Heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. [24] For Christ has not entered the Holy Places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the Presence of God for us; [25] not that He should offer Himself often, as the High Priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with BLOOD of another"

THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS ~ Hebrews‬ ‭10:1‭-‬10‬
[1] "For the Law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. [2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. [3] But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. [4] For it is not possible that the BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS could take away sins. [5] Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. [6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. [7] Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ” [8] Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), [9] then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. [10] By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."

September 25, 2023. As surely as the seasons change, so shall change find its way to your doorstep. I know that change can feel unsettling but it must come for increase to happen. Leave behind all that has pulled you down and step into My fresh season. You will be blessed beyond measure if you will embrace the change. If not, you will grow stale where you are. I am with you-fear not!
