Five Russian servicemen repel attack by superior enemy forces near Urozhainoye

▫️ According to the servicemen, Ukrainian attack aircraft made two attempts to attack the stronghold twice during the day with superior forces, but failed to break through the defence of the 37th Separate Guards Motorised Rifle Brigade.

▫️ The AFU soldiers came under heavy fire from Russian mortars, but 12 Ukrainian servicemen reached the stronghold, and a contact battle began.

▫️ Only five Russian servicemen resisted the superior enemy forces, two of whom were wounded during this battle, but they did not retreat and continued to hold the defence. The commander of the unit with the call sign Bolshoi took the brunt of the assault. Throughout the battle, he was in full view of the enemy and kept firing.

▫️ The AFU were unable to break through Russian defence. Despite their numerical superiority, they were forced to retreat.

🎖 For courage and professionalism, Russian servicemen were honoured with high state awards - the Order of Courage. This was the second award for the commander of the unit with the call sign Bolshoi. Earlier, he was awarded the Medal 'For Bravery'.
