Strange Scary Sound in the Wood - only heard after taping and reviewing

We were hiking in the Wood. I decided to tape this quiet beautiful place in the woods for meditation. After I review the tape at home, I heard this big clear sound. If I heard this sound, I wouldn't have taped it because it defeats the purpose of quietness in the wood I wanted to tape.
There were NO TRASH CAN, NO CHAIN or what-so-ever. Yet, the sound was so crystal clear and loud.
Just strange....
