Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - September 25, Day 268 - Ezra 7-10

Welcome to Day 268, September 25th, 2023. We read of Ezra, now speaking in the first person, sent to teach the people. King Artaxerxes pens a letter to Ezra. We read a list of the family heads of households set to return to Jerusalem with Ezra. Ezra sends for some Levites. There is a fast and prayer to the Lord for protection on their journey. Ezra learns of the sins of Intermarriage happening within the Jewish people and prays to the Lord for it. The people confess their sin, and a list of the people guilty of this sin is given. This marks the end of the Book of Ezra.
